Frances F. Denny took part in a virtual panel discussion of modern witchcraft in America in support of her book Major Arcana. The virtual roundtable was led by Erica Feldman and included writers Pam Grossman and Mya Spalter.

The discussion centered around the general question: “What is Modern Witchcraft?”

When asked “Why witches?” by Feldman, Denny replied: “Stepping back, if I look at my work over a long period of time, it’s really focused on the formation of female identities and the influence of familial, historical, socio-cultural forces on that self.”
