Scrolling through the 151 images in the book—each of which related to the work environment of an artist from the Big Apple—you can feel all the creative ferment and personality of the authors examined.

The different way in which the walls of the various ateliers are set up, the arrangement of the furnishings, the chaotic nature or, on the contrary, the exaltation of the void inside the individual rooms, demonstrate the multiple approaches to the world and to the work by the artists, revealing not a little of their human and professional identity.
