From “Modern-Day Witches in America” at PDN Photo of the Day:

Major Arcana: Witches in America is a collection of portraits by Frances F. Denny of women from across the United States who identify as witches. The series is on view through November 24, 2018, at ClampArt in New York City. Each woman photographed for Major Arcana pursues a form of witchcraft, whether aligned with a religion (like Wicca or Voudou) or a self-defined practice. Many consider themselves pagan and engage in a diversity of traditions like mysticism, engagement with the occult, politically-oriented activism, polytheism, ritualized “spell-craft,” and plant-based healing.
