Rachel Papo’s new series of photographs on homeschooling is in the Critical Mass Top 50. Critical Mass is a program about exposure and community. Photographers submit a 10-image portfolio. This work is then pre-screened by a committee of approximately 20 jurors. From those votes, the 200 top Finalists are determined. Their work then goes on to a jury of approximately 200 of the world’s best photography professionals. Using these votes, 50 winners are chosen, and then one artist is picked to receive a book award, and their series is published as a monograph.
