Ann Weathersby (b. 1970, New Orleans) is an American visual artist whose work blends photography, glass sculpture, and found materials to explore themes of memory, identity, and interiority. She holds a Bachelor of Journalism from the University of Texas at Austin and an MFA from Yale University. A long-time faculty member in the Photography & Video department at the School of Visual Arts, she teaches in New York. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally at venues including the Yale University Art Gallery, Galerie Thaddaeus Ropac (Paris), Yerba Buena Center for the Arts (San Francisco), Museo Tamayo (Mexico City), and Fortnight Institute (New York). Weathersby’s pieces have appeared in The New York Times Magazine, Artforum, New York, W, Fast Company, and Tank, and are in collections including Yale University Art Gallery and that of Beth Rudin DeWoody.
