From the street photography podcast titled Rob Boyd Street Podcast:
Photography has always been part of Meryl’s life, from taking photos in the Bushwick community NYC to shooting the hedonistic nightlife of New York during the 70’s and 80’s in clubs such as Studio 54.
Meryl was a public school teacher for many years, combined with her contact with so many people with varied backgrounds over the years, this has made her one of the most grounded and giving people I know. She gives her time talking to anyone who she meets and her advice and stories are Gold.
I was lucky enough to view her work at the Dublin street photography festival, join her on a photo walk seeing how she interacts with everyone and spend the remainder of the weekend in awe of her energy and love for life and people.
