To say that I’m a fan of Meryl Meisler’s photographs would be an understatement. Her approach ot documenting life is what drew me to photography — black and white square photographs that so perfectly capture a moment in time, seen with humor and pathos. Her archives seem endless as she has continued to release amazing bodies of work from decades past. The newest monograph is Street Walker, published by EYESHOT, that serves up a collection of iconic classics from the ‘70s and ‘80s USA cultural hotspots: New York City, San Francisco, Las Vegas, New Orleans, Fire Island, Miami Beach, and more.
