From Alexander Loukopoulos’s review for Musée Magazine:

Collage is a powerful form of self-expression. Its authenticity is both seen and felt as disparate objects all come together to create something brand new, though unrefined. The result is a piece that bursts with creative potential and personality. Collage certainly has an edge in this regard; its existence is defined by a rawness that accentuates the passion put into its creation. It is an art of urgency—I must make something, and I will use whatever I have at my disposal to do it. Urgency is invaluable in the realm of creation, and as a means to channel it, collage becomes just as important as it is powerful—a belief that the curators at CLAMP have exemplified in their latest exhibition, “Sharp Cuts: Queer Collage.”
