From Zoe Schreiber’s article for Zigzags:
Adam Ekberg (1975-) places his artistic practice at the crossroads of photography and performance. In his compositions, both surreal and poetic, the American photographer immortalizes various objects in unusual scenarios that he imagines and stages. The “decisive moments” that he freezes in the moment, using a film camera, play on the absurd and the discrepancy and highlight the fleeting and ephemeral nature of the situations.
