From Cultura Inquieta:

Meryl Meisler is an American photographer known for her photo documentaries about New York City in the 1970s and 1980s. During that time, Meisler documented the city’s nightlife, including topless clubs and discos.

The images captured the women who worked there and the customers who attended the shows. Instead of focusing on nude bodies, Meisler focused on the atmosphere and energy of nightclubs.
