Bronx-born Meryl Meisler’s new book New York PARADISE LOST: Bushwick Era Disco takes you on a journey through gritty New York City from the late ’70s to the early ’90s.
Meisler was part of the ‘70s NYC club scene. When she became a schoolteacher in 1979, her nightlife ventures were limited to weekends. Through it all, she continuously documented her surroundings.
