ARTnews features the new acquisitions made by the Baltimore Museum of Art in June 2020:

On Wednesday, the Baltimore Museum of Art announced new acquisitions of works by female artists as part of its “2020 Vision” initiative, which spotlights the achievements of female-identifying artists through educational programming, solo and group exhibitions, and a commitment to exclusively purchasing works by female artists. Approximately $2.5 million has been budgeted by BMA for acquisitions throughout 2020 and 2021.

Among the acquisitions entering the collection this week are mixed-media sculptures by Barbara Chase-Riboud; videos by Nathalie Djurberg, Laura Ortman, and Martine Syms; fabric work by Barbara Brown; and photographs by Delphine Diallo and Mariette Pathy Allen.
