From Sahjah’s post at WHUDAT:

The American fine art photographer Michael Massaia is devoted to the extinct, analogue entertainment devices in his series “Saudade”. The talk is here of Pinball Machines aka pinball machines, which are unfortunately hardly to be found nowadays. For over 10 years, the 38-year-old has sampled relevant equipment from manufacturers such as Gottlieb, Bally, or Williams in the vicinity of his native New Jersey. He himself says about this project: “The project is my way of saying goodbye to the fast shrinking analog world, while at the same time paying homage to the beauty of these last standing machines.” Right down there are some shots of pinball machines Names like Slickchick, Captain Card, Evel Knievel or Gorgar. Just have a look + Enjoy.
