From the article at Archijob regarding “The Secret Lives of Buildings”:
[Translated from Hebrew] American photographer Marc Yankus decided to isolate the most beautiful towers of New York so that they might be appreciated without the bustle of the crowds that surround them every day. Manhattan is known for the beautiful architecture but with all of the traffic (both of people and vehicles) can sometimes be difficult to enjoy. Yankus created the project ‘The Secret Life of Buildings’ in which he imagines the Big Apple without the usual distractions. The project is essentially an imaginary view of how the city would appear without all the crowds.
