From John Bennette’s post on Hanging with Mr. Bennette:

I started to notice Marc Yankus’ new project about a year ago. I am very pleased that it is now being exhibit at ClampArt. Some art depend on the creation of a complete and believable world – – I think Marc has done that. The relevance of these images touches a cord with most New Yorkers (most people) as we hear of old touchstones in our cities being destroyed or changed during the march into the rest of the 21st century. Some of the time I am lost trying to figure out where am I. New York is a city of change, therefore to be New York it has to keep evolving, but never have I seen it happen so fast with so much sorrow.
