She’s lonely, she’s hurt, and she’s a hot mess crying in the shower fully clothed. I’m not saying I’ve never jumped in the shower fully clothed with a full face of make-up on. Who hasn’t? But, I clearly need to know more about this subject matter and the photographer. Turns out that the Brooklyn-based photographer Manjari Sharma likes to shoot wet ladies, because I found more on her site. It’s indeed called “The Shower Series” which includes emotionally wet portraits of men and women. The lighting is absolutely stunning. I’d love to know if she knew her subjects or was she brave enough to stand out in the streets of Brooklyn and lure passerbys into her bathroom. That’s an awesomely good, clean time right there.
