David Robbins is an artist and writer who was one of the first to investigate the art world’s entrance into the culture industry. Robbins is most known for the work “Talent,” which features eighteen “entertainer’s headshots” of well known contemporary artists including Cindy Sherman, Jeff Koons and Allan McCollum. His work was featured in the 2014 Whitney Biennial. Robbins currently lives and works in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
