David Xavier Harrigan, also known as Tomatâ du Plenty, was a singer in the the late 1970s and early 1980s. He was part of the Los Angeles electropunk band The Screamers. He was also the founder of Seattle’s counterculture troupe Ze Whiz Kidz. In 1983 Tomatâ launched his art career and painted for the rest of his life before dying of cancer at the age of 52 in 2000.
