Cole Weston (1919–2003) was an American photographer known for his color images of the California coastline, landscapes, and portraits. The youngest son of Edward Weston, he began assisting his father in the 1940s and later printed his negatives after Edward’s death in 1958. Cole served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and worked for Life magazine before focusing on his own photographic career. His work has been published in multiple monographs and exhibitions, reflecting a commitment to capturing natural beauty with technical precision.
