Pablo Picasso (1881–1973) was a Spanish painter, sculptor, and printmaker who was one of the most influential artists of the 20th century. A child prodigy, his career spanned nearly 80 years, during which he co-founded the Cubist movement and created an estimated 50,000 works of art.
