David Scher (b. 1952) is a self-taught American artist whose multifaceted practice fuses expressive drawing, collage, animation, and installation. His layered, playful compositions—anchored by intuitive lines and surreal narratives—have appeared in venues from Pierogi (NYC) to Galerie Jean Brolly (Paris), and are held in the collections of MoMA, the Whitney, and the Met.
