Ann Craven is an artist who works between New York City and Cushing, Maine. Her paintings are both representational and abstract, and she is well-known for her lushly colored, bold portraits of the moon, animals (often birds), flowers, trees and other iconic images from everyday life, in addition to her abstract canvases which serve to both document her process and reflect on the notion of time just past.
