Andrej Dubravsky was born 1987 in Slovakia. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava. Dubravsky’s paintings explore themes including self-gratification, homosexuality, and intergenerational relationships.
Mainly centered on the male body, his artistic interests mine issues of identity. The content of his work can be understood as a metaphor for sexual awaking and the glorification of youth, or as a simple reflection of everyday life.
