Marsha P. Johnson (1945-1992) was a gay liberation activist, and is known as one of the prominent figures of the Stonewall Uprising. Johnson was a founding member of the Gay Liberation Front as well as the Street Transvestite Action Revolutionaries (S.T.A.R.).
