Jonathan VanDyke is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice encompasses painting, textiles, performance, video, and installation. Known for his sewn and stained fabric works, VanDyke transforms humble materials into layered abstractions that invite prolonged looking and embodied engagement. His performances and durational projects extend this sensibility into time and space, exploring slowness, attention, and queer collaboration. VanDyke has exhibited and performed internationally, with presentations at venues including Storm King Art Center, The Power Plant in Toronto, and the Des Moines Art Center.
