Multidisciplinary American artist Davis Henry works across performance, costume design, photography, video, painting, and installation with the aim of challenging dogmatic social constructs, thereby unlocking new opportunities for selfdiscovery and liberation. In doing so, he externalizes personal experiences; past, present, and foreshadowing, epitomizing the boundless multiplicity so central to the human experience. Leaning into a child-like aesthetic informed by his own shadowy alter-ego, Henry depicts fantastical worlds that live at the intersection of reverie and social commentary, controverting linear concepts of time, consciousness, and meaning. A graduate of Syracuse University’s Fine Art program, Henry has recently held creative executive posts at Universal Pictures and Amazon Studios. He currently splits his time between Los Angeles, California and Tulum, Mexico.
