Brian English is a Los Angeles-based fine art photographer. His career is distinguished by his time as a studio assistant and printer for iconic photographers such as Robert Mapplethorpe, Richard Avedon, and Annie Leibovitz. This formative experience is reflected in his own work, which often features classic black and white aesthetics. In addition to his creative practice, English has held significant administrative roles in the art world, including positions at the Herb Ritts Foundation and as the Programming Director for photo l.a.
