ARTIST

Born in Simferopol, Russia in 1892, Victor Guidalevitch eventually moved to Atwerp, Belgium and became a civil engineer and important amateur photographer. Guidalevitch’s photographs were reproduced in many of the publications of the day, including the Salon International d’Art Photographique de Paris, Photograms of the Year, Die Gallerie, etc. The artist’s work is represented in the collections of The Art Institute of Chicago, the Worcester Art Museum, and the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, among many others.
