Karin Rosenthal is most known for her nude photographs. She studied photography at the Rochester Institute of Technology and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. A retrospective of her work was shown and published by the Danforth Museum of Art, Karin Rosenthal: Twenty Years of Photographs, in2000.
In the late 2000’s Rosenthal has shifted from images of the body and its reflection, often in water, to only reflections in nature and she is also delving into her own family history. She lives and works in Watertown, Massachusetts.
