Bill Emrich (1954–2006) was a Chicago-based American photographer known for his fashion photography and personal projects, particularly his intimate and often sensual photographs of men. His work, which frequently captured a sense of vulnerability and raw beauty, is considered iconic of the 1970s and 1980s. Emrich’s photography includes portraits and nude studies, and he published one notable book, Photographs of Men, in 1992. His legacy also includes work inspired by the punk club scene, which he was a part of in the 1970s.
