The illustrations in Josef Albers’ “Interaction of Color” are studies composed of color-printed paper and mounted colored paper, some with cutouts. Many folders have more than one leaf of illustrations.
Included are several studies by prominent artists and authors, including Albers, William Bailey, Robert Engman, Janet Fish, Jay Maisel, and Mark Strand.
The paperbound volume, “Commentary,” (48 pp.) annotates the 80 folders of illustrations. Roman numerals on the folders correspond to chapters in the main text.
