Michael Wang uses systems that operate on a global scale—species distribution, climate change, the global economy—as media for art. His works include “Invasives,” the controlled release of invasive species; “Carbon Copies,” an exhibition linking the production of art to the release of greenhouse gases; and “Rivals,” a series that addresses corporate competition.

Michael Wang (b. 1981) lives and works in New York City. He holds an M.Arch. from Princeton University, an M.A. from New York University, and a B.A. from Harvard University.
