Michael Vernaglia was an accomplished illustrator and artist throughout the 1970s. He is perhaps best known for designing the logo and first poster for The Saint nightclub. Vernaglia was also an escort who advertised in the Advocate personals. Vernaglia was an early casualty of the AIDS epidemic.
