Ross Bonfanti’s creatures are constructed from cement and found stuffed animals collected in the artist’s home town of Toronto. While the sculptures are heavy and tough, the artist retains the original toys’ fluffy seams, felt noses, and glass eyes.

The artist’s work is represented in several public and corporate collections in Canada, as well as the Hirshhorn Museum at the Smithsonian Institute, Washington, DC.
