Keizo Kitajima (b .1954, Suzaka, Nagano) is one of the leading figures of the Japanese photography movement in the 1970s and 1980s. He first studied with Daido Moriyama, and became know for his grainy, black-and-white portraits of people on urban streets in Tokyo and New York.
