James Wojcik is an American still-life photographer whose work transforms everyday objects—fruits, bottles, sea creatures—into meticulously composed, painterly images that blur realism and abstraction. A graduate of the Art Center College of Design (BFA, 1981), Wojcik’s photographs have been exhibited internationally, including at Deichtorhallen in Hamburg and the Palais de Chaillot in Paris. He has created editorial and commercial work for publications such as Allure, GQ, House & Garden, Newsweek, The New York Times Magazine, Time, Vanity Fair, and Vogue, as well as campaigns for brands including Coach, Clinique, DKNY, Dolce & Gabbana, Gap, H. Stern, MTV, Mumm’s, Nike, and Vera Wang. In 1998, he received an Alfred Eisenstaedt Award for Magazine Photography.
