Samuel Gottscho (February 8, 1875 – January 28, 1971) was an American architectural, landscape, and nature photographer. Gottscho acquired his first camera in 1896, and took his first photograph at Coney Island. From 1896 to 1920 he photographed part-time and particularly enjoyed capturing nature, rural life, and landscapes.
