Steve Giovinco creates digital photographs of dark landscapes, and intimate portraits. His series “Between” consists of quiet, poetic scenes captured at twilight or nighttime, using only ambient or available light.
The artist earned an MFA from Yale University and his work has been widely exhibited at galleries and museums across the United States and Europe. His artworks have been acquired by numerous museums, including the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, The Brooklyn Museum of Art, the Butler Institute of Art, The California Museum of Photography, and the Lowe Art Museum in Miami, Florida.
