Marc Yankus’ exhibition “The Secret Lives of Buildings” was selected by PAPER magazine as one of this week’s “Must-See Art Shows”:
ClampArt is also moving to a new storefront space at 247 West 29th Street in the Flower District. The first show, “The Secret Lives of Buildings,” features a series of portraits of NYC buildings by Marc Yankus. “The buildings are not presented simply as they are,” he says. “Muted of distracting visual noise, they represent my vision of how they ought to be seen.” The opening reception is Thursday, October 13, 6 to 8 p.m., and then it’s up until November 26.
