From Paper Magazine:

Photographer Marc Yankus spent the last five months taking portraits of buildings all around New York City, creating a series which will be shown in Chelsea gallery ClampArt in Spring 2014. Yankus’ uses a secret technique to add texture to his photos, and sometimes alters the looks of buildings to create his surreal blend of New York grit and beauty. The result is “a familiar city, yet unfamiliar, as though [in] a dreamlike state.”
