From Daniel Pernudo’s article for dxi magazine:

[Translated from Spanish] ClampArt (New York, USA) presents ‘The Secret Lives of Buildings,’ their fifth exhibition of works by Marc Yankus. This is the inaugural exhibition in their new space in Manhattan, where the artist has created dreamlike portraits of the most iconic buildings in New York. On view until the 26th of November, ‘The Secret Lives of Buildings’ captures the architecture of the city in a moment of strange stillness, free from the frenzy of pedestrians and vehicles. The sense of stillness highlights the elegance of the structures, both majestic and humble. The artist offers a new perspective of historic buildings, an idealized and even utopian version.
